MULTILINGUAL LAKES

 Multilingual Lakes

Dear partners, we will create a common Multilingual Dictionary using Google slides.

 

The dictionary will contain these words related to lakes:

lake, basin, tributary, outlet, branch, shore, dam, backdrop.

 

The words will be written in all the languages of the schools that participate to the project.

 

Then we will create a common Genially.

Each school will have a slide of Genially and students will write the words in English and in their own language. 

They also will record the pronunciation using a recording button.

MUSICAL LAKES

1) Sing a song about our lake.
We draw a partner's song.

2) Edit the e-book and add a video of the song about your lake. Write the translation of the song into English in " Go to discussion" (it is near "Page options").
Then draw the song of your matched partner's school and upload the drawing to the page next to your partner's video.

We present our lake by drawing its shape. 

 

We decorate a partner's shape using our imagination: what does it look like?

 

All the shapes and names of lakes are finally collected in a "Matching pairs" game created with LearninApps.

HOW TO COMPLY WITH THE TASK

 

1) We write our name, school, country and lake name in the table "Matched Schools" below.

 

2) We draw the shape of our own lake (with our name, school, country, lake name) and we upload the drawing to Google slides, on the left part of a slide.

 

3) We look at our matched partner's lake. We draw it and decorate the drawing with creativity and imagination.

We upload the drawing to the slide with the partner's lake, on the right of the slide.

 

4) We create a common "Matching Pairs" game with LearninApps.

We upload the shape of our lake and its name.
