LAKES IN THE FUTURE: Time Machine
Dear partners, in April we will create a video documentary about a partner’s lake.
Then we will upload our video documentary to Google Earth in order to create a common Lakes Tour.
HOW TO DO
1. Schools are matched on the table below.
2. Make a video documentary about your matched partner's lake.
- First of all students will show a picture or screenshot of a partner's lake ID (that we made in March on page 10) and they will read the information aloud.
- Secondly, two students (covered faces) will do an interview: one will read the questions about the partner's lake, the other will read the answers (the activity we did with Cram in February on page 9).
- Finally students will give a suggestion in order to improve the condition of the partner's lake in the future.
A simple suggestion, showing a drawing/poster which illustrates the suggestion.
3. The video documentaries will be collected in one common map created with Google Earth.
Add a tag for your partner's lake on the map.
Edit the tag and add the video documentary about your matched partner's lake (add the Youtube link of the video).
After that all the videos will be uploaded to the map, we will draw a line on the map that links all our lakes.
4. The video documentaries will be uploaded to Strimm TV and we will create our project TV channel.
Video documentaries on Google Earth and on Strimm TV
These are our video documentaries about a partner's lake.
They are uploaded on a map on Google Earth.
We created a tour of lakes in Europe.
They also are uploaded on Strimm TV.
We created our project TV channel.
